How the Con Works
The con will take place on Zoom and Facebook over two days – June 20th and 21st, 2020.
Panels:
Panels will be held using Zoom webinar. You will receive a link by email on Thursday, June 18th, along with other details. Panelists will be visible to all attendees. Attendees will not, but will be able to watch the panel, talk with each other and the panelists in the chat function, and use the Q&A function to ask questions of the panel. Each panel will start on the hour, and will wrap up no later than ten minutes before the next hour. A full list of panels is here. There are two “tracks” for RSM this year:
- Reader Track:
- Saturday: 10 AM PDT/1 PM EDT, 3 PM PDT/6 PM EDT, 5 PM PDT/8 PM EDT, 6 PM PDT/9 PM EDT
- Sunday: 8 AM PDT/11 AM EDT, 10 AM PDT/1 PM EDT, 3 PM PDT/6 PM EDT, 5 PM PDT/8 PM EDT
- Author/Trade Track:
- Saturday 8 AM PDT/11 AM EDT
- Sunday: 6 PM PDT/9 PM EDT
Readings
In-between the panels, we’ll be holding author readings, also on Zoom webinar. There will be three readings in each segment, with the first one starting on the hour and the others following at 15 minute intervals. See the schedule for all the readings here.
Saturday and Sunday: 7 AM PDT/10 AM EDT, 9 AM PDT/12 PM EDT, 11 AM PDT/2 PM EDT, 4 PM PDT/7 PM EDT
Social
We’re working on options for the social side of the con. You can come hang out on the Facebook Group here and chat with other members on the posts we’ll add. And finally, we plan to offer some Facebook video chat rooms so you can meet and mingle – we’re testing this out now.
